You must have a definite plan before going out for traveling. Your planning should start from your family. You must look at your family size. There are two different plans for bigger and smaller family. If you have a smaller family with just two kids and wife, you can plan for traveling with other families together. You will find a lot of privileges by traveling together. This will surely reduce the expenses of traveling. When traveling, money is a big factor. So in this stage, two or three small families can hire a vehicle together, which will definitely reduce the traveling expense in a large extend. Same goes with hiring a cottage.
You may search for people who want to go with you. Who else has the same types of plan like you have. If everything goes right, you can make a complete and final decision for traveling.
If you are traveling alone or only with your family then decide which time is the best for you to travel. In Bangladesh, traveling in Winter Season is a better option. Winter exists for a little time around 2 or 3 months. This is the best time to travel in Bangladesh. The people from urban areas go out for travel to Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Sundarbans, Cox’s Bazaar, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dinajpur in winter.
Especially if you are traveling a long distance, there is some preparedness like booking hotels, bus and train tickets. You have to make sure you have prepared yourself completely. To help you there are Tourism offices in almost all divisions. You can contact them to be informed with the expense and other necessary things. It is better having some information before leaving home for travel.
